considering his muscular physique.
.. is this also the reason why the god opted for an undernourished carpenter? If hercules was chosen to be christ the Savior, would it be difficult for the romans to nail him on the cross?
Well asked.
Obviously, these are two very different ideas of what a hero is supposed to be.
If you even crucify Hercules, the effort would be enough to become a combat epic all on its own.
Not so with Christianity.
It's a very different approach to life...If hercules was chosen to be christ the Savior, would it be difficult for the romans to nail him on the cross?
hercules was the son of a demon, read how in Geneses
If you are asking if Jesus had the ';power'; of hercules could he have kicked the romans butt?
Jesus once gave great power to a man, he carried off the gates of a city and put them on a hill miles away. It is estimated the gates weighed 6 tons. The man's name was Samson. Oh, he also killed 1,000 trained soldiers with a dried up jaw bone of a donkey. Samson could have ruled of any roman, but God did not deem it wise to rule over men by brute strength.
Jesus once gave a man great wealth, so much so that silver was counted as nothing. he gave him wisdom also, so much that a queen left her nation and traveled for several years to be in his presence. His name was Solomon, and God saw that men rebelled from the rich and great wisdom lead the flesh away.
As God watched men he saw that the best way to be a king was to be a servant and respect man's free will. So he chose to become as nothing so we could become everything.
Please notice it is said ';Jesus the carpenter's SON'; not Jesus the carpenter. He left his earthy training when his heavenly father called him. Also note that a carpenter takes a log that should be cast into the fire and recreates a use full life for the dead wood.
My point exactly.
Yes an undernourished carpenter who ate mostly figs.
He also rode donkeys side-saddle, which didn't do a lot to impress the Romans.
.
Well interesting Question . But what was the need for so great, powerful romans to sue a undernourished carpenter. What made them fear him!!!
lol! that f***ing hilarious. im still laughing. if hercules was christ meg would have probably nailed him to a bed not a cross
Not too much. Hercules would have been weakened from all the torture, and the Romans used really big nails.
there was no hercules.
there was no cross.
The Romans were lucky Jesus didnt go f*cking nuts on all their asses and pull out some Jew-Jitsu.
Jesus could have escaped, but He obeyed God..
It would have been easier to nail up hercules than Jesus if Jesus had tried.
No one can answer that because that would be a whole different story, hercules wasn't chosen and hercules isnt real ok? ok!
if hercules and chris did exist they'd end up killing each because they claim that their the real god
You look creepy.
I dont knw but the sure would nail im on a bed
Next question please!
But he wasn't, so nothing here.
WOW......
It wouldn't have been a problem for me. I'm a bondage expert.
