If I can catch the Easter Bunny and nail him to a cross, can I start a new religion?

The Easter Bunny is just as real as the christian god, for all you unbelievers! If I can catch the Easter Bunny and nail him to a cross, can I start a new religion?
Just use a ';sail rabbit'; on the road, and tack it to one of those roadside memorial crosses.

You shouldn't kill the Easter Bunny. He sacrificed all his children (not just one firstborn son) for us in the form of his eggs. He is perfect, and he did all these things just for us.If I can catch the Easter Bunny and nail him to a cross, can I start a new religion?
Actually the Easter Bunny represents another religion in a way already, the Easter Bunny is from the pagan religion it represents fertility in their religion or something. My pastor used to say we were going to hell if we went easter egg hunting or went to see the bunny and like I told her it's just fun for the kids that's all!!!! I take my son easter egg hunting and trick or treating and I'm still a good Christian but anyways I also googled it because I knew someone had to have put that it was a pagan holiday I didn't read all of this article so I don't know if any of it is offensive to anyone but I read the first part and it explains the Pagan part of the Easter Bunny.
No - it is far, far older than christianity!!

Easter is set by the first full moon after the vernal equinox. This is the one day in the year when day and night are roughly equal!

It varies by more than a month over the years and so it simply cannot represent the date of anyone's death!!!

It is in fact a combination of several pagan festivals most notably the spring festival.

The name Easter comes from “Eastre” an Anglo-Saxon pagan goddess. Also the Norse goddess,Ostara who took her name from the Teutonic lunar goddess Eostre

Even the Chinese have the festival of Ching Ming where flowers and sweets are put on their ancestors graves!!

The egg and the rabbit are symbols of springtime and rebirth along with the custom of giving flowers etc!!

The Venerable Bede, an early Christian writer pointed out that the Christian church absorbed Pagan practices when it found the population unwilling to give up the festivals. Thus a lot of what Christians now see as Christians practices are in fact pagan!!!

Fun to watch the Christians worshiping a pagan festival though - makes it just like Christmas when they do the same thing!!!
funny question, at easter time...thank goodness no kids under 13 are on answers*

keep on with your safe, non religious dogmas like communism, fascism, nazi ideology, wahabism...no, wait, that one is religious...

no one ever suffered under those safe, non religious systems.....not !
You offer no evidence at all for your assertion, much less the absolute proof you demand before you will ';believe'; in God, so you have quite a double standard. Not very scientific, friend.

As to your question, of course you could. But it would be your religion, not God's religion.
Billions of people of all nationalities, white , black, red, brown,Asian, ALL job status, rich, poor, middle income, male, female, teens, pre teens ,twenty somethings , thirty somethings, in their 40's,50's ,60's,70's 80's, 90's, 100 something year olds...now, 5 years ago, 10 yrs ago 50 yrs ago, 100 yrs ago,1000 yrs ago, 2000 yrs ago.. ALL KNOW Him to be true due to similar life experience in HAVING MET OUR LORD Jesus Christ . Through the BLESSING of The Holy Spirit we were given THE gift of Jesus from God.

B I L L I O N S of people ALL agree He ';IS'; . Not because we read about Him in a book, but because we experienced His invitation.

No other proof is needed of His existence,as ALL of us KNOW the truth. YOU too can MEET your brother Jesus simply by asking Him into your heart.

..... people did NOT write the Bible , GOD made it RIGHT.

SO we use the bible as a time to visit with God and His words of wisdom to improve our job qualifications as His soldiers.
Sure thing buddy, good luck with followeers
sure go ahead... you wont go to heaven for beleving in the Easter Bunny... if you believe in Jesus you will... that's not opinion or anything honey, that's fact.. it amazes me how ignorant you people are! And I''m not trying to be a Holier than Thou person, but seriously you have no respect for the God that created you and loves you!

Have you any respect for anything, probably not, you are the problem and not the solution.
Eastrus(sp?) is greek god of sex and violence.

Bunnies and eggs are symbols of reproduction...so..religion was already made.
Sure, go ahead! Just make sure you've got the real Easter Bunny not just any ol rabbit. And Dont expect him to save you from anything because you just killed him.
