Why do angels nail themselves to the cross they bear?

Through their devotion and dedication to the reason for their ‘being’. The Angel might see it as a privilege to take up their cross and bestow love, energy, assistance on those who need it. Through nailing themselves to the cross they bear they will never veer away from their spiritual undertaking: to include everyone, exclude no-one who asks for their help, to be non-discriminatory in their approach to everyone recognising all are equal to others. We will never know the price the angel pays in being willing to bear their cross and respond to God’s grace and their calling in the fullest possible way.

To help them understand how Jesus/God ( same person to me ) felt when he was crucified.Why do angels nail themselves to the cross they bear?
they are not the problem but it is our eyes that mislead us
I have never heard of any angel nailing himself to a cross. And since their bodies are not corporeal just how would an angel accomplish this feat? (If you are referring to Jesus, he was not an ';angel.'; He was set above the angels and is glorified by all the angels in heaven.)
Their deep rooted sense of duty.
They don't; only the one that put himself above God. MAYbe.
angels are spirits they don't have the body for them to be nail to the cross.

its the only way to reach heaven
the only ';angel'; that has been nailed was Jesus. Angels dont have crosses to bear...they have nothing to worry about thats why their in Heaven. The only ones that nail themselves are mortals because instead of letting our burdens go we dwell on them...unfortunatly this is all part of being human

if they nail themselves to the cross and not just carry same for as long as it takes, they are no longer angels
they can't. somebody must do it for them.
