Jesus became sin for us and bore our sins in His body on the cross, thus fulfilling the Law.
2 Cor. 5:21, ';He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.';
1 Peter 2:24, ';and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.';
Rom. 8:3-4, ';For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh. 4in order that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.';
dark seeker- you have better stop mocking Jesus- because my friend, He came to earth to die for you as well as everyone else. You call Jesus weak for dying on the cross, He died because He loved us and desired to have a personal relationship with us. Sacrificing Himself, and yes, will use the word as THE PERFECT LAMB- paid the price that none of us could pay for our sins. He is too weak just to change us with His power? Jesus is not a magician, He is GOD- and by the way, that power that you are talking about raised Him from the dead. Also He has given us the power to live forever. God does not love sin because of Jesus- God's hatred of sin and love for us, put Jesus on the cross. We can be like Him, when we receive Christ as our Savior. Are you willing?
