If the Romans nailed Jesus to the cross, why is the Holly Catholic Church in Rome?

And is the church dominated by Italians? Aren't they supposed to be the bad guys?

Oh...... And is it any wonder that they have the lance that pierced Jesus' side in the Vatican? Sure they have it, it was their lance! If the Romans nailed Jesus to the cross, why is the Holly Catholic Church in Rome?
Because they are the little horn power in Daniel 7 and 8, they are the beast power in Revelation 13.

Gaius Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus (February 27, 272鈥揗ay 22, 337), commonly known as Constantine I, Constantine the Great, or (among Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Christians) Saint Constantine, a Roman Emperor (and proclaimed Augustus) is best remembered in modern times for the Edict of Milan in 313 and the Council of Nicaea in 325. These events fully legalized Christianity in the Roman Empire. His reputation as the ';first Christian Emperor'; is however in question as he was baptized only on his death bed and the fact that the ';New'; christian faith persecuted other christian sects of the time. It has been speculated that the adoption of christianity was a political move and not one of faith, as the New Roman Catholic Church declared that followers must worship and recieve sacraments as a community (in contrast to other religions of the day) thereby forcing the masses to go to the masses(sp) and recieve direction from a state sponsored preist.
one word..... Hypocrasy!!
the christian god loves bad guys. Be like god remember? Kill lots o people and stuff. Fire, burn, kill.
Because the Romans invented Christianity (Constantine).
Politics and Power
Around 300 AD Constantine, the ruler of the Roman Empire was supposed to have had a dream showing his armies winning the battles and theey had a cross as their symbol. He declared Christianity as the state religion.
it is to kill him again in a sense . the Jesus the catholics worship is different then the Jesus they murdered
The early Church leaders went to all the largest cities in the Roman world including, of course, Rome.

It is believed the two greatest disciples, Peter and Paul, ended up in Rome.

There have been more Italian Popes than from any other country but the amount of non-Italian bishops and cardinals has grown tremendously in the last 50 years.

The bad guys of the first century are not necessarily the same bad guys of today. We try not to hold grudges.

I don't know anything about the lance.

With love in Christ.
gud question! if u figure it out lemme know too!!!!

P.S. in God's eyes nobody is the bad guy
It's Holy, not Holly!
There are alot of different holy catholics churches around the world. The Greek Byzatine Catholic church for one. The Roman Church is the largest because St. Peter settled and taught in Rome.

St. Peter ain't Italian.
because of St. Hilarious, the patron saint of irony
