Of course not! Why would anyone do that (unless they were a bit psycho)? The point in being a follower is not to feel everything he felt, but to live in the unity with the Father that Jesus lived. His death and Resurrection bought us our freedom to do that, so that's what we celebrate on Easter.
You want to feel His pain without maiming yourself? Get an over-sized backpack, stuff it full of anything heavy enough to about 70 lbs., don't forget to line one strap with sandpaper where the lining meets your clothing. Loop that one strap over your shoulder and walk around. You will then feel the load of sins Christ felt lugging that cross toward Calvary.
