If Jesus was around today would they have used ';No more nails'; when securing him to the cross?

Actually no. If he was around today he would be recognized and proven as a fraud, but would live on as a legend in the minds of people who read the National Enquirer.

He would be right up there with Elvis, bigfoot and crop circles. And some suckers would still believe arguing that scientists faked the film that shows him up to his neck when he tried to walk on water.

Sigh, people have always been so gullible. If Jesus was around today would they have used ';No more nails'; when securing him to the cross?
You are not funny. If Jesus was around today would they have used ';No more nails'; when securing him to the cross?
That wont happen cause what he did 2000 years ago he wont do it again.
no. probably velcro.
I know this is not what you want to read, but this is why God let His son be crucified on the cross:

';But he was pierced for our rebellion,

crushed for our sins.

He was beaten so we could be whole.

He was whipped so we could be healed.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.

We have left God鈥檚 paths to follow our own.

Yet the Lord laid on him

the sins of us all.

He was oppressed and treated harshly,

yet he never said a word.

He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.

And as a sheep is silent before the shearers,

he did not open his mouth.

Unjustly condemned,

he was led away.

No one cared that he died without descendants,

that his life was cut short in midstream.

But he was struck down

for the rebellion of my people.

He had done no wrong

and had never deceived anyone.

But he was buried like a criminal;

he was put in a rich man鈥檚 grave.

But it was the Lord鈥檚 good plan to crush him

and cause him grief.

Yet when his life is made an offering for sin,

he will have many descendants.

He will enjoy a long life,

and the Lord鈥檚 good plan will prosper in his hands.

When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish,

he will be satisfied.

And because of his experience,

my righteous servant will make it possible

for many to be counted righteous,

for he will bear all their sins.

I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier,

because he exposed himself to death.

He was counted among the rebels.

He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.';

Mr Darcy, have a good Easter and remember that Jesus died for you so that you may have life and have it in abundance for all eternity!
Now now Mr Darcy. You're not the Messiah, you're a very naughty boy!

I can just picture it, maybe it could be a scene in a remake of The Life of Brian. Don't lose your sense of humour. If there is a god then I'm sure he/she would find it very funny indeed.
Slate Jesus for him sacraficing his life...I bet you will still be scoffing those easter eggs though!
He is this time.
impossible i know, but if he was,he would just be another vicar or priest in a church bible bashing.
I doubt it. It didn't even even hold my curtain rail up. Nails still work best.
xD And it would be the christians crucifying him if he was around today...
You are a very naughty boy Mr Darcy and shall be punished accordingly.

Do you like my new avatar- i just didnt think the old one looked like me enough?
screw or unscrew would be the question then ..the blasted tube!!
Hey, that's good. I'd never thought of that.
oh you are gonna get shot for this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus death is not something to joke about!
May I suggest you spend this Eastertide on your knees in repentance.

Jesus Christ took upon Himself the sins of man since the world began, then and only then did He allow Himself to be tortured by the Roman soldiers and subsequently executed by death on the cross.

Your knowledge of anatomy and physics is sadly lacking - the alternative to nails as you suggest would have not done the job. This is of no consequence however when considering the ultimate sacrifice of the Atonement.

May I also suggest you read the accounts of Luke and Mark on this issue assuming you are in possession of a Bible.

Oh! And by the way, I don't bear my testimony just to get loads of disillusioned thumbs down!
Dumb question, not cute.
Not funny, the pain that Jesus endured was for you and me and we should all give him the thanks that he deserves .
