I WISH we had Christians like this in the states--THAT is something you can respect and take seriously, as opposed to ';I ate fish on friday';Do Christians who fail to nail themselves to crosses like th Filipinos lack devotion and commitment?
Maybe to some people in the world that denotes a commitment to God, but the Lord Himself knows our hearts and is more than aware of the depth of our commitment to Him or the lack thereof. We are in no way required to torture ourselves to prove our feelings to God. In fact, the Lord commanded this of those who choose to follow Him-

';...love the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways, and keep his commandments, and cleave unto him, and serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. Josiah 22:5
No. There is only one person whose nailing on the cross actually meant something real and that was Jesus. Devotion and commitment from a christian would be truly loving God and obeying His commands.
they lack many things.
Who ever said we had to nail ourselves to a cross to be devoted or committed?
Yes, they are not true Christians. I have so nails and alcohol if anyone needs some. Although, I'm sure most Christians have plenty of those things already.
No. You can have another form of devotion and commitment aside from that.
