Sacrificial Lambs are not nailed to a cross .. theyre cooked...spiritually speaking, whats up w that?

look!

it's direct comparison.

He {JESUS CHIRST} was compared(directly) with a lamb.Sacrificial Lambs are not nailed to a cross .. theyre cooked...spiritually speaking, whats up w that?
You speak what the world views as a lamb. A animal.

Jesus came in the form of man. Spiritually speaking you have no clue.

The final sacrifice for our sin. Only he can take away our sin. Jesus took away the need for animal sacrifices and grain offerings. He made it easy to come to the Father once again.

Jesus orchestrated God's mercy and grace. God came to love us and say PS I love you in his word. Ephesians chapter 1.Sacrificial Lambs are not nailed to a cross .. theyre cooked...spiritually speaking, whats up w that?
Sometimes their necks are slit and left to rot
You obviously don't realize how hot it gets out in the Palestinian sun, even in Autumn. Jesus was barbecued to death.
made into gyros.....yum yum yum
';Eat of my flesh';?
Actually they are burned.
You are partly correct.

The sacrifice was killed in place of the sinner. It was a sign of acknowledgment of the severity of sin and the need for redemption. After it was bled, part of it was burned. The rest of it was assigned as a portion to the priests. Since they did not have a land inheritance of their own, they were supported by the tithes and sacrifices.

The Old Testament sacrificial system pointed forward to Christ's perfect sacrifice, while the New Testament points back at Christ's completed work that fulfilled the sacrificial system, making it no longer necessary.
they don't taste good raw, have to cook em to get the meaty juices tasting good
Do a little study dude. The Jews used to sacrifice a spotless innocent lamb. This was a type of Jesus Christ the only spotless sacrifice of God. Scripture says he was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. The sacrifice was for our sinfulness.
