I just saw the Semana Santa celbration here in Mexico City, and some people have told me that they actually use real nails and shed real blood. I couldn麓t tell since it was so far away. I'm not sure of the details, but in the Phillipines there are communities who carry out this ritual to display their dedication to their Christianity...I think it's beautiful.
i guess they feel they are special if they do it.
What the f**k is wrong with people? That's as bad as that Islamic sect that likes to bap a wound in their heads so they can bleed all over each other in the name of religious devotion. If your religion causes blood loss, it's probably weird. Then again, I've done Blood Rituals before, so maybe I can't say anything bad about it without being a hypocrite.

yes it happens here in the philippines actually. but sad to say, they dont know wat they are doing.. they just considered it as some ';ritual'; or just for the sake of tradtion. They thought that's the way of their salvation but its not.. it is better to obey than sacrifice.
