Guatama Buddha meditated under a tree & was enlightend. Jesus Christ was nailed to a Cross &... what happened?

I am Buddhist but I choose to focus on the humanity of Jesus, not the divinity. His teachings were wise and enlightened, and in line with the teachings of the Buddha.Guatama Buddha meditated under a tree %26amp; was enlightend. Jesus Christ was nailed to a Cross %26amp;... what happened?
lol if you look up some statues of Buddha you'll find him sitting under this tree in some of them... the tree looks remarkably like a mushroom.

If you look up the plaincourault fresco which is in a church and painted around the 10th or 11th century you'll also find the tree in the garden of eden is depicted as a mushroom as it is in many pieces of christian artwork.

The cross itself represents the mushroom lolGuatama Buddha meditated under a tree %26amp; was enlightend. Jesus Christ was nailed to a Cross %26amp;... what happened?
The Buddha died , or should I say his Body died , to show us the impermanace of this life.

Seems how Buddha was around some 500+ years before Christ ,and in an age when crucifixion didnt exist yet...there is no comparison.

Both taught basically the same thing. the Big Huge difference is this :

The bible , in being translated for so many different people in so many different ways has lost some of its true translation.( Not to mention the gnostic gospels that the ';church '; didnt see fit to include because it showed women in a state of power..)

The words of the Buddha have been passed down for almost 2600 years by monks who memorize them word for word. As of the last 100 years or so they have been written down.

I truly believe that before man got his hands on the bible and modified it for his own power was an amazing testament.

Jesus and Buddha Each died their own way, each one showing us a different lesson.
Jesus' death in Buddhist perspective is Him paying for the sins of others. He underwent the retribution and suffering in place of others as a demonstration, teaching, and example of GIVING and COMPASSION.

It's funny how Jesus behaved like a total example of God's teaching, but models so well as a Buddhist in kindness, compassion, dedication, patience, etc. Strange how Christians make such a big fuss on this so-called ';difference'; between the two religions. Even more strange how if people modeled after Jesus' deportment, they'd be model Buddhists too!
Jesus died to cancel out the sin for those that accept Him. Secondly Jesus is risen to assure those who turn to Him, eternal life. Buddah was enlightened and died for no one. Buddah died and is still dead.
Jesus Christ died for our sins and became the path to God. He resurrected three days later. He made it possible for us, sinners, to be together with the perfect God
People thought that he somehow stood out from all the others that had been crucified and started following him and ruining everyone else's beliefs and passing judgment.
he didn't die

6hrs is not long enough for death due to Crucifixion.

((((((May All Be Happy))))))
He (Christ) arose from the dead and conqured death.

Buddah sought the light but Christ was the light of the world.

I guess that makes Christ something special
He painfully died, went to hell then was resurrected like so many other gods.
Those who accept Him as Saviour are enlightened.
Enlightenment through lumber.

You've motivated me to go to Home Depot.
They both received their enlightenment from the same source.
He died. In painful agony. While his mother watched.
Lots of savior gods were hung from a cross or a tree. It's a pretty old story.
Jesus was honored for His sacrificed and sits on the right hand of God where God has given Him all authority on earth and in Heaven. What about your Buddha?? That is what I thought! He just died.
he died
lightning struck and there was an earthquake because the savior was killed.
resurrected
He died .
He died for our sins.
The lies began
