Why in Thailand do christians nail themselves on a cross?

Im not christian in any way, just wondering.Why in Thailand do christians nail themselves on a cross?
I live in Thailand and I have never seen anyone nailing themselves to a cross (or anything else whether they be Christian, Buddhist or anything else). The overwhelming majority of the population are Buddhist. There aren't many Christians.


Anyway, I have never even heard of such a thing.


Do you have a website to show this or is it just a joke question to see how credulous people are?


Thai people are pretty laid back about life generally so I'd be surprised but I guess anything is possible. Anyway a link would be helpful.Why in Thailand do christians nail themselves on a cross?
They think it is showing respect.
You cannot physically nail yourself to a cross. Think about it, ok? :)





Ok, lay yourself down and pretend you're nailing yourself. Put your arms out and your legs together, one on top of the other. Take your right hand and pretend you've got a hammer and nails and pretend to nail your feet together. Now, take your right hand again and pretend to nail your left hand. Now, how are you going to nail your right hand? That's my point. You can't.
Because they're not very bright.

Because they take their religion just a bit too seriously. Even the Western religious fundies blink in disbelief when they see that.
