then I suppose you need to fear God and stand in awe of Him. As He did not spare His own Son, then by not believing on His Son Christ Jesus, who gave His life, willingly, how much more will God punish those who mock or ridicule Christ's sacrifice?
I agree with L M. There cannot be covenant with God without the shedding of blood. Jesus died as the ultimate sacrifice, so that all we had to do to have a relationship with God is repent and believe.
That is why we have a chance. God wasn't willing for anyone to have to pay the penalty for sins. That is why He sent Jesus. Jesus paid our price.
You miss the whole point. He allowed this so that we would have more than a chance.
